Complete series alert! Read the epic conclusion to the eleven book series! My eternal soul or theirs. Either way, we're all damned if I can't outsmart an ancient demon. Three thousand years. That's how long my fated mates have been trapped in the bowels of hell. And I'm their only shot at freedom. I thought my magic was strong. I thought I was unstoppable. But that was before coming face-to-face with the sadistic demon who can predict my every move. How can I defeat him when he can see me coming? And how can I convince my mates to flee when they've been under his spell for so long? My only hope rests with my unpredictable magic and in outsmarting a demon hunter whose thirst for torture rivals his cunning.
Tara West writes books about dragons, witches, and handsome heroes while eating chocolate, lots and lots of chocolate. She's willing to share her dragons, witches and heroes. Keep your hands off her chocolate.
Tara West's young adult and new adult romances have been Kindle bestsellers. A former high school English teacher, Tara is now a full-time writer and graphic artist. She enjoys spending time with her family, interacting with her fans, and fishing the Texas coast.
In this gripping tale, demons, witches, and wolf-shifters intertwine; they are all connected through time and dimensions. Navigating through several levels of hell, they embark on another dangerous rescue mission and confront malevolent monsters to overcome their dire situation. Lots of drama, love, fear, confrontation, and chaos to deal with 😅
After a years-long hiatus following the first three books, I decided to return to Tara West's captivating world—and I was instantly hooked all over again. I completely binge-read the rest of the 11-book series and fell back in love with every page.
I am utterly in awe of Tara West’s storytelling prowess. Her plotting is flawless; each book seamlessly piggybacks off the previous one, continually ramping up the action and emotional stakes. What truly made this series shine was the consistent presence of the main cast. Watching the characters evolve, grow, and see their families expand across so many books felt incredibly special and forged a deep, lasting connection to the entire narrative. The adorably fierce female leads and the irresistible male characters—who had me positively melting—were unforgettable.
Remarkably, every book gets better than the last. You witness Tara West's writing evolve into something truly magical, and her creativity in crafting this world is astounding. Now that I’m finished, the fictional world she built is one I genuinely miss. It's that rare series you wish you could step into and live in! I'm so glad I returned to this journey; it is, without a doubt, something special. I can't wait to read more from Tara West
AHHHH! WHAT AN ENDING!!! Love, love, loved it so MUCH! I am SO glad Phoenix got her happily ever after. Tara did not disappoint, even though it was the last book in the series.
Let me tell you though this book is one rollercoaster of a ride on your emotions. I was either like, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM?!" in one chapter, then crying my eyes out the next, too laughing the next. It was sooo crazy, but in a good way. That's Tara for you. Her books always give you all the feels.
The world building is over the top too. Especially considering this is her 11th book. The description of her creatures, demons, and hell is incredible and creative. Gorgo sounds so disgusting and nasty that I could just picture him in my head with her writing. Yuck. Just her description of hell was making ME thirsty, I could imagine how her characters felt. No thank you.
Definitely a book I love and would 1000% recommend. The whole series actually. I own them all!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This has been an incredible series, one that I am so sorry to be at the end of it but OMG the author did an incredible job with its conclusion. Exiting, thrilling, entertaining and definitely steamy, this literally pulls you in as we carry on from where we left off in book 10. It’s been one hell of a journey, one that I have been happy to take with our fantastic characters in this incredible world, as origins have been discovered, fated mates, family, drama, danger and plenty of action and this final book wraps everything up so well. Questions have been answered and we are left with an ending that is well deserved for our beloved characters though it is heartbreaking to say goodbye.
I have been looking forward to Phoenix’s book since she first made an appearance in the series. Let me just say that this book didn’t disappoint! This book had it all: action, suspense, romance, and redemption. Our characters went on an dangerous adventure to save Phoenix’s mates. Tensions are high, but in order to succeed everyone will have to work together. Can they put their differences aside to save the people they love? I loved the flashback scenes! Through the flashback scenes, we were able to learn about the events that led to Phoenix’s mates being captured. I am sad to see the series end, but I am glad that everyone got the ending they deserved.
I need more stars for this one!!! First of all, I was planning to read for an hour, got sucked into the book and read the whole thing. I was so mad at Phoenix in the beginning for acting as a spoiled brat but then the book got so intense that I forgot ( I also got mad at the Amaroki, the whole tribe, for acting as idiots, lol ) It is hard to write and not spoil so I will keep this simple: This book is awesome, it wraps up the entire series in a way that satisfies all of us. I am sad that the series finished but I can always re visit them. Do not miss this one
Really enjoyed this series, first time I read this series got until book 10. A few years later found myself thinking about it and started reading it. I don't usually reread a series unless I love it. I realize now why I never got to book 11 the first time around. For me book 10 and 11 just didn't resonate with me. Things started to get a bit too convoluted with people being reincarnations of others and trying to tie past and present. I don't think it was well integrated. Leaving the books to fall flat in comparison to the others in the series.
This book. OMG, what a read. It was a fantastic read that will grab you from the first page and keep you reading until the end. IT moves along at a speed that is perfect for this story, speeding up and slowing down as needed. The characters are truly amazing and you feel as though you know them and you will fall in love with them. This is a must read book and it needs to be on your TBR list, there is no doubt about it.
This story has everything, I laughed, I cried, I couldn't put it down. Tara West never disappoints. Phoenix’s lack of patience causes her to rush hea first into danger for mates she can't truly remember. But her passion and bravery cannot be denied. The characers are engaging and the plot move along at speed. a fantastic conlusion to a brilliant series.
I've grown to love these characters and in beyond grateful for a happily ever after kinda chick with an amazing erotica imaging! I mean there are only so many ways you can describe certain things but you rock! I've cried, I've laughed and had an amazing ride with you! Thank you and just keep 'em coming!!! Xoxo
Once again blown away with this captivating, charming, and wickedly arresting tale that holds you entranced and spellbound through another phase of life within the shifter world. Here's hoping that You can continue to enchant me and millions more with this fantastic trip ! !
Have we finally come to an end? Is there truly no more to our loving world of Amaroki? What a way to end it if it is. If not, what a way to open up more possibilities!!!! Loved the way this book wrapped up a lot of different aspects and how their love traversed and spanned the millennia, dimensions, and planes.
Fabulous series. I have enjoyed getting to know each of these characters and will define looking out for more. Thank you for sharing these wonderful stories with us. Would like to see more. Maybe of the children's stories?
Enjoyed the series, read in order to follow storyline. Good stories, lots of suspense, tension, sex and love. Thank you for the great read. An author to watch
What a way to end. This series had me hooked from them beginning and this last book didn't disappoint either. Loved all the characters and world development through the whole thing. Great book
What a beautiful conclusion to a stunning series! So thrilling, so exciting and darn right heart stopping at times! There were times I thought I was turning into Bug, my eyes as wide as saucers at the drama and tension. Oh, sorry, Bug is the sweetest, kindest, most genuinely virtuous, well, bug. My word did the author send me on a spectacular journey, one right into the very bowels of Hell. A different Hell than you would imagine and a very dangerous one too! Except it was Phoenix who actually went, I just clung onto her and experienced it all first hand.
It picks up exactly where the last book ended, except this time we get to see another side of Phoenix, a more petulant side, only in the beginning mind, although, I did understand her dilemma. Her mates were trapped somewhere in one of Hell's dimensions, at the mercy of a truly despicable demon who has enslaved them, so, yes, I'd also jump in feet first to rescue them. And oh my was Phoenix in for the shock of her life when she realised WHAT her mates had become. Well.... this sets off a chain of events that just captured me wholeheartedly, from disgusting huge spiders, to Zombie wolves, to a a wedge between two powerful sisters because of a mistake or perhaps better, a misunderstanding, 3000 years prior.
There were a few chapters going back to that time period, which laid out the why and the how it all started. The actions they took and the awful results. I loved the insight and the explanation, it made for a complete read leaving absolutely no gaps in the story. There were times I was shocked at the twists and turns, not expecting them, and I just when I thought it couldn't get worse for Phoenix, it did! The tension was off the charts good. The characters were all so complete, each one extremely full bodied, each persona dedicated to, they felt like I knew them intimately. I was really chuffed to see Tigress making an appearance, she's so cool, different, but cool.
But it wasn't all heart in throat tense, there were really warming moments. There is one scene that is so beautiful, so heartwarming and tender, so filled with joyous yet regretful emotions between Elira and her dragon, my heart literally flipped over in my chest and my eyesight got all foggy from the emotions. And we have the love and dedication between Phoenix and her mates, the love of a mother, and the remembrance of past happiness. One mother in particular, pulled out all the stops. For all her faults and sins, and boy were they insurmountable, Jezebeth was first an foremost a mother, a mother who loved her daughter with every fibre of her being, a mother who would go to extraordinary lengths to protect and save her daughter. And she did... without a care for herself, she did.
This truly is a tale that transcends the ages, the Amaroki and their origins, the Demons and the different realms. I was thrilled to read this final book in the series but at the same time devastated that I say adieu to this wonderful world with these wonderful characters. But in all honesty, the HEA more than makes up for my loss! A terrific read indeed!
