Congressman Larry McDonald first wrote this book in 1976. I read the updated version after his death. Because this was the updated version there were certain things that didn't quite match up stylistically but that didn't take away from the overall point of the book. It was essentially a history of the Constitutional abuses that gradually increased over time. From the founding of the country until the time he wrote the book. I read it off and on as at one point I had misplaced the book but it was great and I would highly recommend it, if you can find it.
