THE SCRIPTURES ARE GOOD THAT SHE HIGHLIGHTS THROUGHOUT THE BOOK AND HER PERSONAL RELFECTIONS AND APPLICATIONS ARE POSITIVE AND ENCOURAGING. THE BOOK THOUGH IS JUST NOT THAT FUNNY. THE BEST PART IS WHEN SHE HIGHLIGHTS WHAT KIDS HAVE SAID IN CHURCH (KIDS SAY THE FUNNIEST THINGS). THOSE ARE WORTH REMEMBERING AND USING.

I hate giving bad reviews and rarely give a book less than 3 stars, but this one was just not my favorite. I was hoping to read some hilarious stories that would make me laugh out loud. But most of them were just not funny to me, and some of them were kind of confusing. I did enjoy some of the stories that involved kids.

I love humorous books, and if they're Christian humor, so much the better!! I was cracking up at some of the stories in this book. I have heard some of these before, but that didn't diminish my enjoyment. A good story never gets old. I also liked that Patti reinforced these stories with Scripture.

If you like books that show that Christians can have a sense of humor, and if stories of children learning "what it's all about" you will love this little book.

I will say that if you are not familiar with Pentecostal/Charismatic style of worship you may not enjoy this book as much. I do not belong to this faith, but I have attended services at these churches, and have seen some amazing things happen in the name of the Lord.

This is not a typical read.

I liked the transformation that Tichina Arnold had to see where a woman possessed with a demon and afterwards they took her home but she still refused to sit in the backseat next to her. Yet, it was a wake-up call. I even laughed at Dr. Creflo A. Dollar story when someone got baptized and came out cussing how cold the water was and then the deacon on duty said to dip her again she didn't get it the first time. I laughed out loud (lol). Some of the other illustrations were boring and skimmed over.

This is a serious book on faith and things that happen in church. So things that children say or unbeilevers say can be funny to it has so very light hearted peices that pick you up

This book was so funny. Especially the little kids. I had my husband Scott, me, and my in-laws in splinters. I would recommend it to anyone who is having a tough day.
