I was hoping that this book would teach me how to grow and plant lavender but it talked about what you can do with lavender, how it originated, etc.

Repetitve to some degree on the info -- too many similar project ideas but that's not so much a problem -- the payoff is the lovely phtographs! A lovely book chairside in a guest room for someone to browse and p[lenty of inspiration to engage with this wonderful plant in all sorts of ways. And tempting recipes which was my purpose in purchasing this volume -- laveder scones, for example.
