It's not a bad overview of Islamic Art and Culture, but it's not very good either. It's broad and vague and generalized. There is maybe one instance in the whole book where an Islamic artist is mentioned by name, and several instances of Western artists who drew their inspiration from Islamic art who are named.
The text is big, the pictures are big and in color, and the information is not incorrect as far as I can tell. It's not bad if this book is your very first introduction to Islamic Art & Culture.
