Not a book I'd normally read but my character decided he wanted to scuba dive. The only thing I know about diving is from Sea Hunt--yes that show in the 60's with Lloyd Bridges. So, I did some research and I learned that in the 70's Basic Scuba by Fred Roberts was THE book to read. It has been helpful and overwhelming. I've enjoyed reading about something I don't ever plan on doing. I do recommend this book whether you are going to scuba dive or not.
