Rebels of Rock

Judas Priest: Metal Gods

I'm on the top as long as the music's loud. Judas Priest frontman, Rob Halford, sang those lyrics at the 1983 US Festival in California. First to popularize wearing leather and metal studs, Judas Priest formed in Birmingham, England, in the 1960s. Many say they are one of the founders of heavy metal with their gritty guitars and screeching vocals. Read about the hardships of the band Judas Priest, it's members, the history, and the world around the band.

It was a good book. They were from Britain. They were a new kind of rock. As times changed they stayed the same and stuck to their roots. They got a new singer in the 90s and they still play a few shows today.

Great teen read with just the right amount of information for a school report. Information is accurate and interesting and the pictures are nicely done.

Rob Halford is the Metal God and may these London Leather Boys keep it heavy.
