Inheritance theft is a widespread but hidden phenomenon afflicting every level of society. During the next twenty years, baby boomers and their children will inherit an estimated one hundred trillion dollars, much of which will be hijacked by family members, associates, or strangers. Everyone who might give or receive an inheritance is a potential victim.
Attorney Robert C. Adamski has handled more than 1,000 inheritance disputes during his 30 years practicing law. He wrote Inheritance Hijackers: Who Wants to Steal Your Inheritance and How to Protect It, to help people protect the inheritance they expect to give or receive. Family members and other trusted close associates are the most common hijackers. The book includes five stories illustrating the five most common ways inheritances are stolen. "
not what I was looking for, when being a caretaker for a loved one and this auhor claims that they are stealing their assets, is wrong. I was Power of Attorney for a loved one who has passed and I used my own money than using my loved ones money. I also was looking into the reviews of this author and found out that he has some pretty bad stars due to not handling his cases very well.
