It only took me two days to read this book, although that isn't anything to brag about considering the book is only about 120 pages long- and about 1/5 of the pages consist of photographs. I have mixed feelings about this book, in which the three authors highlight the important role that China's younger generation will play in the future as the world's biggest market, and explain the importance of understanding the rationale behind consumer trends in this enormous country. One of the problems I have with this book is that it is very superficial in terms of addressing current value systems present in Chinese culture, and that there are some very broad generalizations. Another aspect of this book that I disliked is that I felt the writing was not good. There were tons of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. They need to hire a better editor. There were also parts of the book that were written in a very amateur (for lack of a better word) style. At many different points through out the book, I felt like I was reading something written by a seventh grader.
