About 20 percent of the population experiences tinnitus symptoms at some time in life. If you suffer any of the symptoms of tinnitus, this book could change your life for the better.
This book contains a wealth of information on tinnistus - what causes unwanted noises, how to deal with them and how to protect yourself from the frustrating symptoms
This book turned up at my work. looking at the cover, I realised that I hadn't had tinnitus in a very long time.
What has changed for me?
● Putting on weight. Would be nice wouldn't it - but can't believe that there are ever any benefits to getting fatter. ● Less stress hmmm... ● I do yoga well yoga makes me happy & happy is good for you...
So I took the book home. I tried, I really did, to read it. But it was hard to get past the copy paste facts on the ear's composition. & nowhere does it mention Mr (?) Dr (?)Habet's qualifications to opinionate on anything aural. In fact, I couldn't find anything about Habet at all - other than he has written a few books on matters as diverse as sciatica, talking to your dog & a nostalgic cookbook. Mr Habet knows just everything!
Self help in this case seems to mean gathered some random facts about tinnitus & put them in a book for you.
I skimmed through to the yoga section. No, no definite research or even opinions that yoga could help - just a couple of very basic exercises to do. Exercises that someone practicing yoga already does.
I'm just glad I didn't pay for this & this book's next destination is likely to be the recycling bin.
