White Nose the Sheep Dog

White Nose, a yellow-colored puppy with a white nose, is separated from his family. My stomach growled. I wondered where my mother, brothers and sisters were. I was lonesome. He is rescued by a Navajo family and slowly adapts to his new surroundings.

This book is quite interesting as it is a Navajo story and the book is written in both the Navajo language and English. The story is sweet, and I loved that it showed children something about the Navajo culture.
