I found it at my Granny’s house and thought why not. It is very interesting and knew it was a doomed sort of love from the beginning. The whole falling into love part was interesting to say the least. Took me a while to get through it but reading the ending at midnight took me out a bit there, kind of startling that ending but again, expected. Its was not too bad actually.

After getting past the difference in writing style due to the different time period, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is written beautifully, the love story is very slowly developed in a natural and lovely way. The writing is also heart wrenching, and the book ends tragically. A good book to cry about.
