Alissa's getting into the repetition stories.

This is one of my favorite childhood books. The picture now seem old-fashioned but they are classic and beautifully rendered. The story is a remake of a very old folk-tale with much repetition just like kids enjoy in a read-aloud. You won't need to point out the moral - just let it sink in over the many years you share this story.
