Quiet Talks on Power

by S. D. Gordon

Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

As far as books on dealing with Indwelling sin go, this book is right up there with the best. It was clearly preached as a series of messages and later on transcribed and compiled and could have done with a little formatting but that does not take away from a well-put-together treatise on the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.

It is not theologically heavy which makes it a good recommendation for the average reader.

[Lfj Gill]

A powerful, inspired and inspiring treatment of the subject--as with all S. D. Gordon's works.

Classic book, Relevant Still

This book on prayer is a classic but truths still relevant. The style is from another era but understandable and quotable.
