Interesting book. I love the feel of its papers and the black and white illustrations. There are 365 of them, mostly small though.
This book told tales following seven routes (Bath, Exeter, Portmouth, Brighton, Dover, York and Holyhead) all starting from London. The inns along the way and social commentary and tiny bit of people in those days.
My main complaint was sometimes it's hard to read, the vocabularies were bit strange. But that's my own fault, I think.

Originally prnited in 1901, this book is written as a collection of stories interspersed with some info abou carriages and inns. I use it basiclaly for a refernce book for looking upp inns.
