The Gospel is a glorious message; the very idea that God should send His only Son to die for us in order to release us from our sin is truly amazing. Christians must grasp every opportunity to share the message that Christ is the only way. But are there opportunities apart from the usual church based ones, and how can we best use our time to reach the lost? Today there are a growing number of people who are reluctant, initially at least, to attend a church-based event. They need a bridge. Derek Cleave suggests that one useful bridge is evangelism through the home. The concept is very simple and, the author believes, that church members should open not only their hearts but also their hornes to unsaved neighbors, friends and work colleagues. Drawing on his thirty years experience as an itinerant preacher and evangelist, Derek Cleave guides the reader through the stages of planning home evangelistic events, and deals with many of the pitfalls and questions that are often asked

I actually began to read this book because I thought it was about Christian hospitality -- and it does address that subject. But mostly it is a very practical book about using our homes in various ways as a place for evangelism Lots of good ideas for many different scenarios! It was well worth the read.

Biblically argued and practically applied, this is well worth reading, maybe especially since the pandemic where in the UK only about half the population know a Christian who is active in their faith.
