CNC PROGRAMMING: FANUC CONTROL

This book was originally published by Galgotia Publications Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2001. It was so much in demand that its new and revised editions came almost every year, till 2011. However, because of a shift in business priorities, Galgotias lost interest in publication activities. After 2011, only reprints came for a few years, after which its publication was completely shelved. This was unfortunate because this is still the only authentic indigenous book in the CNC area in the Indian market. Some universities have selected this book as one of the textbooks for their CAD/CAM courses. Even practicing engineers have learnt CNC programming from this book, as a commercial CNC training is too expensive. Therefore, for the benefit of those interested in the CNC area, it is desirable that this book continues to remain available in the market. When the book remained out-of-print for several years, the issue was discussed with Galgotias. Since they were not interested in publication business anymore, they agreed to transfer the copyright of the book to the author (SK Sinha) in March 2022, so as to enable him to re-publish it through some alternate channel. The present book is the pdf version of the same book, as an eBook. Some manual corrections/additions can be seen at some places. These are done by the author himself, hence are authentic. Please note that some topics such as canned cycles on a lathe (G70-G76), probing and FMS have been completely revised, but could not be incorporated in the book.
