Bradley Nickols bragged about finding an in-exhaustible treasure during his visit to Burma. He’s hidden it somewhere in his country house among the hidden rooms and staircases. Eleanor Reade left the security of her job at the University Library after being passed over for a promotion. Now, in-between jobs and struggling to pay the rent, she takes a job doing an estate inventory in Northumberland, England—all expenses paid. She recruits the aid of her best friend Sandy, and together they begin a working vacation—or so they think. If they can solve the puzzles left behind by Nickols, they may find the treasure, but they are not the only ones looking for it.

Couldn't put it down!
I agree, a real page turner. Characters very well developed and story captures and keeps you guessing to the very end.
