3.5✨This book started hot and then got really heavy. I was not expecting Parker’s character to take the turn that it did. He definitely met his match with Bells and she gave him a run for his money. There was a lot of tension between the two and when they finally let their guards down I was like, whew! Finally.

I really hate that Naughty November is coming to a close! I have thoroughly enjoyed these reads! Ma'am! Who knew a mean, lonely, old man was packing all that; and could back up all that ish talking? 😂 I didn't know what to think of ole Parker at first, with his mean ass! He had the grumpy old man vibes on lock, and didn't give a damn what anyone thought about it! Okay Parker, so the military showed you some things, and you experienced some devastation with residual trauma. But damn man, do the work! You know that there is ish with you, and you refuse to deal with it, just to be an ass to everyone around you? Ughhhh...... Bells! She has some issues too! Running up into Parker's place, demanding ish and threatening him! Like what?? These two were like oil and water, and I just knew someone was going to get hurt! 😂 Bells, has some experience with the trauma left behind from the military as well, dealing with her father. Along with her fears of people not being their true selves, and running from anything that seemed too comfortable. Somehow the same things that she despised about her father, drew her to Parker. She knew he was mean, and would probably hurt her feelings, but she still put herself in his path. It was like she needed him to need her!
What is it about this young girl, that I can't get out of my system? Parker never allowed anything or anyone to get close to him, but for Bells, he would make an exception. Her mere presence calmed him in a way he couldn't understand, but wanted more of it. The back and forth, and the running away from each other, got old quick; and they both found some act right! Two tortured souls that were drawn together, to heal and renew. I hope to see more of these two, as I would love to see if they continue on the path to love. Great job! 👍👍👍

Crazy kind of love......
Ms. Andrews, yes we need more of Charlie aka Bells and Parker. I feel they are just beginning and on the cusp of a beautiful life together. Charlie and Parker didn't have the most friendly introduction however it was memorable. Ironically, Parker and Charlie had similar issues from a military background. Or rather Charlie was quite impulsive while Parker needed to adhere to the help he was dishing out to other veterans. Parker and Bells had that crazy kind of love. Once they got their feelings on the same playing field, they fell hard for each other. I also liked Spade and Chrissy's crazy dynamic. I think Spade finally realized that he can only play with her heart but so long.
This is one of those reads where you don't know what's popping off next. Parker and Charlie kept you on your toes. They are twinning with the bipolar-ness from time to time. Ms. Andrews, I like how you didn't do an epilogue because it leaves room for more. My vote ✔️ is in for more. This series is on 🔥 so grab your copy today.

This book had three tropes I like, enemies to lovers, grumpy x sunshine and age gap(older man, younger woman). This book was short, 133 pages but I enjoyed the hell out of it.
The banter and chemistry between Parker and Charlie was top notch. Parker was grumpy as hell. I mean super grumpy. He's a retired military veteran suffering from PTSD. As a result the patience he has for people, especially people he's not close with is short. Real short. Him and Charlie clash at the beginning over a mistaken package delivery where she accused him of stealing it. From there we got a story of two stubborn people who tried hard as hell not to fall but did anyway.
I love how Charlie could handle Parker and vise versa. Parker might've been a grump but he was giving BDE the whole book. Especially in the club scene(praise!!). The sexual tension between them was palpable. When we finally got to the sex it definitely delivered.
My only cons are there were grammatical errors and I wish we would've gotten how old the characters were earlier in the book. We don't find out til literally the end that Parker is 40 and Charlie 27. No big deal, I just wish that was mentioned earlier. Also, I wouldn't consider this book erotica. It's supposed to be one but there weren't enough sex scenes for it to make the cut. I'd say contemporary black romance tbh. I would've loved more sex but the book was good nonetheless.

I want more of Charlie and Parker
This book was soooo good! I don't always jump on the age gap genre bandwagon but the author delivered on it giving us the right dose of fiery chemistry and engaging storyline. Parker and Charlie...talk about worlds colliding...definitely a perfect collision. They met under tense circumstances but their coupling...explosive!!! I appreciate how the author honored our veterans especially those who suffer from PTSD...sometimes the forgotten. She shed light on their dynamics expressing that they need both our grace and love. I want more of Parker and Charlie. Oh yeah this book was good and nasty too...enjoy!

LEft me wanting more!!!!
Bells and Parker were funny with the initial animosity. Parker soon got to a point where he just had to have that pretty young thang😍😂 and she lusted after him from the beginning as well.
The chemistry between the two was 💥🔥💦 😛 was explosive and when they got together, they took each other on a naughty, nice , slow ride😮😂👏. I liked Bells fiery spoiled impulsive personality. She was driving her old man crazy😂😂. I would love an update on these guys. Great read⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I really liked Parker and Charlie. They were cute together and their dynamic and banter was funny. It was filled with sexual tension. I liked that they made each other feel outside the sex and they realized they needed each other. They definitely showed it takes the right person to bring you out of your norm and get you to do something different like falling for someone and taking things beyond the bedroom. I would love to see more from this couple in the future.

This book was so damn cute!🥰🥰🥰 Two people that have sworn off love and relationships, turn out to be everything that each other needs. I enjoyed the story of Charlie and Parker and would absolutely love to see what is in store for their future! 🤗🥰 AND Chris & Spade’s future!

Great Read
Parker and Charlie met by accident, but fell in love by choice! They were both stubborn as mules, but couldn't stay away from one another. Charlie's bark was bigger than her bite, but Parker was over it. She apologized and things were good for them. They realized they would much rather be together that apart. Awesome read.

I enjoyed reading about Parker and Charlie. They were complex from the beginning but the chemistry and attraction couldn't be denied. Charlie was exactly what Parker needed. I would definitely like to read more about these two.

I like Parker and Bells from the beginning their chemistry was so strong they didn't know how to do anything but fight the attraction. I was so glad they stop fighting their feelings and being childish and scared. They are so much happier together.

I loved me some Parker and Charlie, and the sex scene was oh my goodness. For an old mean, grumpy man he knew how to handle Charlie body. I loved when they finally got it together and Parker started opening up to Charlie. I would love to hear more from them.
