Of course, Barry Ronge is witty, wise, well turned out. Brilliant as always, and as the readers of his Sunday Times column expect. But did the publisher need to punish him with the plethora of textual errors? The author is too much of a master of English as a language to have made half of these errors in his original texts. What went wrong? If I were Mr Ronge, I would have complained bitterly.

I've never read Barry Ronge before. He's actually a pretty funny guy. Some of the pieces may be a little out-dated now but I still really enjoyed this compilation of his columns and found it a very easy read.

I have always enjoyed Barry Ronge's dry sense of humour and he has a wonderful writing talent. This was a nice book because it was easy to put down, convenient to fill small gaps of waiting-time, and always fun to pick up again.

I was in a reading funk and picked up this collection. Barry always puts a smile on my face. Just finished the essay on "Food". Totally hilarious.
