বইটা পড়া উসুল হইছে র‍্যাচেল ম্যাককপিনের প্রবন্ধ পৈড়া। আংরেজ সাহিত্যের দুই ঠ্যাং - আধুনিক আর উত্তরাধুনিকের মাঝখানে নির্দ্বিধায় অনায়াসে পেন্ডুলামের মতন ঝুলতে থাকা ভনেগাতের সাহিত্যকর্মগুলা আমাদের সরল-সহজে একটা কথাই জানায় - মানুষেরে ভালোবাসো। এইখানে কিন্তুর লেজুড় জোড়া যাবে না। তোমার ভালোবাসা হউক শর্তহীন। র‍্যাচেল এই ব্যাপারটারে যুদ্ধের শামিয়ানার নিচে আইনা ন্যাংটো করে ছেড়ে দিছেন, যাতে লেবাসের কারণে ভিতরের তত্ত্ব চিনতে সমস্যা না হয়।

ক্রিস গ্লোভারের আলোচনাও ভাল্লাগছে। কিন্তু বাকিদের লেখা বকর-বকর মনে হইছে অযথা; প্রাণহীন। এইকারণে রেটিং দুই।
