So tell me: given the book's message about how all families don't look alike, are there multiple versions of this book with different family configurations, or did we just happen to get lucky and have the exact configuration necessary to stumble on it at HPB and say “hey, wow, baby's family looks exactly like this!”, and thus buy it? It's an important consideration—especially given the book's “families are different” thrust. I like it well enough, and so does the kid, but it could be quite a vertical-market title if your immediate family is not comprised of mom, dad, sister, two pets, and baby. ***

Ok so the page flaps are a cloth tab. This really does not teach anything and is too old for its audience. Ick I say Ick. Ages Birth + But why when there are so many better out there.

Jackson has loved this book from the time he was an infant. He loves relating the things this family does to his own family.

Cute book . My 4 year old thought it was written specific for our family.
