Russell A. Stone is Professor of Sociology and Associate Dean for Graduate Affairs in the College of Arts and Sciences at The American University. He is the author of Social Change in Attitudes and Events and editor of the SUNY Press series in Israeli Studies. Walter P. Zenner is Professor of Anthropology at the University at Albany, State University of New York. His works include Persistence and Anthropological Perspectives on the American Jewish Experience ; and Minorities in the A Cross-Cultural Analysis , both published by SUNY Press; and Jewish Societies in the Middle East . He is also the editor of the SUNY Press series in Anthropology and Judaic Studies.
