Chose to read this book for a reading challenge because several people I know like to play golf. Maybe I should understand a little about it since I don't play the game? The book's historical background about golf, comments about professional players, and term explanations were interesting. I did not care for the tongue-in-cheek humor which seemed to be repeated which is not necessary for a book of this length. However, people who play golf may feel differently. Consequently, this is not a book I can recommend unless perhaps you play golf and are interested in the author's take on the game, history and professional golfers.
