As a person with severe bipolar disorder and anxiety, I’ve found myself in dark places, questioning my own faith. And I can say that while you’re in the dark, you feel utterly alone and cut off from even the memory of light. But in the darkest of times, you are slowly growing as a person and in faith and trust.

This is a look at one woman’s journey of faith through hard times. You will read her passionate cries for deliverance from the pit of despair that she has descended into. As she takes small steps through the dark unable to see too far in front of her, she clutches at the tatters of faith and keeps moving, hoping to find light. Ultimately, she discovers the Lord has been there with her the whole time, guiding her even when she couldn’t feel or see Him.

This book really spoke to me. I have struggled through the highs and lows of bipolar disorder, and I know how hard it is to keep hold of your faith. When you’re done with this book, you will praise God for His mysterious ways. Somehow, when you emerge on the other side, you are stronger, and when you look back, you see clearly that God was with you.

I thought this was going to be more about her story of living with bipolar disorder.
