Bright Lights for Bella is an entertaining book that deals with two things: being honest to your friends and dealing with a fear of heights. Of course, lying is never the solution and eventually comes back to bite you on the rear end. And a fear of heights is a fear that a lot of people have.

Lana Perez does a great job of telling this story and wrapping in both old and new characters from the Star Sisterz series. I enjoyed how she dealt with Bella and her fear of high places and how Rani helped Bella work through this fear. Is there a solution? No . . . but baby steps can be taken to help relieve some of the fear. As for Bella herself, I found her to be a highly likable character and her father is a crack up. Who wouldn't want a pastry chef as a parent? Free goodies all the time. Yummy.

Bright Lights for Bella is another excellent addition to the Star Sisterz series and I look forward to seeing what will happen in the next book, Rani and the Fashion Divas.

I rated this book a 9 out of 10.
