About the author

JEFF ORLOWSKI has been writing since childhood, when he wrote his first story called The Truth About Pete Venix for a grade school assignment. His grade for the story was an A, but when he asked his teacher why he didn’t get an A+, the teacher told him it was because he forgot to sign his name.

He enjoys playing fantasy matchmaker, transporting his readers to enchanting worlds to meet unusual and heroic characters, and a few scary ones too. He has been told by children that he is approved to write stories for them. So that’s what he does!

An Ohio native, he lives there with his wife and three dogs, who think they’re the real heroes—though the dogs’ biggest quest is to win the best belly rub.
