Excellent but not for the faint hearted!

I read this after reading the series 1 DCI Yorke books. These are much darker and more explicit than other detective novels I have read; some descriptions and actions that individuals take are extremely harrowing & scary, therefore don’t read this if you are squeamish. Brilliant books though and looking forward to reading the next one.

Great series

I’ve really loved this series and am sorry it’s at an end! The characters are likeable, the stories gripping and they are well written. Will definitely be reading more books by this author.

loved it

I’ve read six of these books about DCI Yorke and enjoyed every one of them. The last one was very traumatic but I still enjoyed it. Bit different than some detective books,

couldn’t put it down

Couldn’t put this down. I’m awake at 02.55 finishing it.
Definitely not for the faint hearted.
I’m downloading the next book now.
