Interesting mash up of myth and science

So, Helen is a bioscientist who gets lost during a vacation while looking for a chapel in the Scottish Highlands. She ends up at the doorstep of the gorgeous but irritating Alistair, a billionaire playboy who is more than he seems. Their initial meeting was not congenial.

Their paths cross again, setting into motion a whirlwind romance, full of passion and heartfelt emotions. Things become complicated due to supernatural forces that are brought to light throughout the story.

It has a few twists, but of course, everything turns out all right in the end.

This is one in a series, but the only one so far translated from German into English.

If you're looking for passion, adventure, and a little bit of mystery, this book is a good read.

story line and characters a little shallow and scattered

I liked the overall story line but there wasn’t a lot of depth written in. The characters d didn’t really call me to read about them further.
