The Dream Founder by Dhruv Nath is a book about startups, but it's not like any other startup book. This book covers both famous and non-famous startups, along with successful and unsuccessful ones.

The book discusses how to discover a startup and the steps to make it successful. It includes many examples of mistakes a founder can make that could lead to an unsuccessful startup.

I like the book because it has a very practical approach and contains examples of both successful and unsuccessful founder stories. Successful stories can motivate us, and unsuccessful ones can teach us how to deal with failure.

Overall, it is a great book to read if you are thinking of starting a startup or have already started one. I like the way the author has detailed the information. The writing is simple to understand, and I highly recommend this book to everyone interested in starting their own startup.

Dream Founder by Dhruv Nath has lot of advices and tips to aspiring entrepreneurs on startups.

This one especially focuses on Indian Start ups and will definitely help the youngsters to create a strong foundation.
The way of his writing is so good, you can actually hear it while reading and it's in such a motivating tone. The ideas proposed are also very practical and not flimsy. His advices are not dragged or bored instead the narration is woven with stories of successful start up tales. The author also shows how to take lessons from the startups that have failed.

The stories were also very interesting and didn't seem like history background of an organization taken from Wikipedia, they were personal and felt. It's nice to know about the origins of familiar startups like godesi, instamojo, and learn abt many others. One of my favorite story was about Harry. Overall, I recommend this to business aspirats who wants to build their own empire.

The chapters and sections are written in an informal style, using common phrases and analogies to make points about starting a business. This makes for a very relatable read—even if you're not an entrepreneur yourself, you're bound to be able to relate to at least some of what's being described.

Book- The Dream Founder
Author - Dhruv Nath
As the name of the book suggests, it is for “founders who are trying to figure out what to do and are therefore frustrated as hell.” The book starts with an overview, and in the initial few pages, the author sheds light on what the book contains and whom it is meant for.

The book is divided into 29 chapters, or you can say 29 steps, to achieve your dream. It explains every minute detail, such as having a perfect team and a perfect attitude. It discusses what a perfect team is and how it contributes to the development of the company. It emphasizes selecting a co-founder who not only shares your dream but also has a zest for it. In fulfilling your dream, you need a team with a proper hierarchy as well as enthusiastic co-workers who not only want to work but also share the same vibes.

The book tells you about the selection of candidates, the interview sessions to be conducted, and the most important thing to keep in mind: the perks and salaries. While mentioning all these important aspects, the author takes care to explain everything with correct and practical examples so that the reader is not fascinated by perfect circumstances but is instead prepared for all kinds of potholes.

After reading this book, I personally felt that the author has shared his own experiences, both good and bad, from which he has learned and then improved. He wants the same for the reader too. The best part of the book is that it’s not only about the positive things but also about the negative things that leave us disheartened. To boost confidence, the author has quoted tips from the lives of successful entrepreneurs.

Thus, on the whole, it’s a perfect pick for those who aspire to become entrepreneurs.

For Indian start-ups in their early stages, The DREAM Founder is a vital resource on entrepreneurship.

Additionally, it features interviews with some of the most prosperous start-up founders, including Dr. Annurag Batra of Businessworld, Sanjeev Bikhchandani of Naukri, Deepinder Goyal of Zomato, Meena Ganesh of Portea Medical, and Sanjeev Bikhchandani of Naukri.com.

The Dream Founder by Dhruv Nath is a handbook for modern entrepreneurship, and the Indian startup sector has grown significantly in recent years. In contrast to other business books that take their cues from global models, this one offers a thorough examination of the distinct startup culture in India.

It is definitely a difficult path from visionary to successful creator. The book explores the founding of iDream and Instamojo and provides a thorough narrative of some of the major players, including Sanjeev Bikachandani, Annurag Batra, and Deepinder Goyal. In addition to emphasizing the importance of never giving up, adaptability, flexibility, delivering a high-quality product, customer priority, and striking a balance between marketing and money, the author also lists other critical traits that any founder should have.

Critical topics covered in detail in the book include recruiting a good team, creating a successful marketing strategy, and having a co-founder present.

The Dream Founder is a worthwhile book because of its powerful storytelling, captivating narrative style, utilization of real-life examples, and helpful advice.

The book is a must-read for all the budding Indian entrepreneurs out there or someone who is intrigued by the Indian startup ecosystem. As an author, he draws from his background as a professor, angel investor, and consultant to present a coherent set of fruitful guidelines for success in the Indian startup ecosystem.

To support his arguments, he also presents various case studies and exclusive interviews of Indian startup legends including Sanjeev Bikhchandani of Naukri. com, Deepinder Goyal of Zomato, success story as well as some failures which even the greatest entrepreneurs had encountered. This is what makes the book even more valuable. While all of us have heard all those Indian unicorn success stories, the failure stories had got dumped somewhere, which the author presented effectively.

The DREAM framework which stands for Dream Big, Recruit the Right Team, Execute with the Proper Attitude, Maintain a Resilient Mindset, and Make Opportunities Out of Disasters is something I found to be pretty intriguing and insightful. The language he uses in his writing is simple and engaging; therefore, the concepts presented can be understood by everyone easily. Another aspect that sets this book apart is the way in which the author provides a great deal of information about fundamental areas of creating a start-up company, for instance, business model, staffing, and incentives.

In conclusion, the book is an informative and inspirational one for the readers, especially the budding entrepreneurs in India. Specifically, I found the author’s practical approach, combined with real-life case stories and motivational stories, incredibly insightful.

Entrepreneurship, Start-up, Unicorn - these have become buzzwords for us.

People may not want to hear it, but in reality, we need 10,000+ more businesses like these to sustain the economy and drive competitive growth for the overall development of every citizen of India.

Only a handful of companies can't dominate the market or any industry. For example, China has numerous companies making electric scooters - around hundreds of them. Meanwhile, here we can count ours on our fingers. That's not how it's supposed to work.

This is where Dream Founder becomes a dream book for aspiring entrepreneurs with its ability to guide and navigate through the realities of the entrepreneurial journey.

With a focus on both aspirations and realities, hurdles and benefits, dreams and reality, this book gives us a clear idea of what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

The dream, team, execution, attitude and caution alongwith creating opportunities are all thoroughly covered in detail. Conversations with founders like Zomato also provide more insights for better understanding of the topic.

Failure is an inevitable part of the journey; how fast we adapt and respond to it, rather than being flabbergasted by it, is beautifully taught in this book. Such a mindset is necessary before starting a business, as it's not like school where you're seen as a failure for making mistakes.

Overall, it's a gold mine of knowledge for all those who seriously want to start a business now or in the future and need guidance, as they may have never learned that in school, college, or from their surroundings.

Do you know what the BOMB approach stands for?

The Dream Founder by Dhruv Nath is a non-fiction book targeted towards people who are interested in creating a start-up (a successful start-up). The author is not new at writing books about start-ups, and he exhibits this experience as he navigates us through different stories to guide us. The author states at the beginning of the book that he welcomes the opinions and observations of the readers. To create this brilliant work, the author has examined all the issues he has found in his discussions with the founders of different start-ups. He has discovered from these discussions that most of these issues and mistakes were common. He is focusing on these issues in this book. He presents a character referred to as the bearded professor in the book, and his identity remains a mystery until the end of the book.
Most of the people presented in this book like to dream big. Some of them were successful, while others ended up failing in their ventures. The author is helping us to not end up making the same mistakes.
"Grab opportunities fast" is one of the important messages the author gives us in this book.
This book also includes interviews with successful entrepreneurs like Sanjeev Bikhchandani of Naukri.com.
Recommended to everyone interested in building a start-up.
