An extremely touching life - the book is actually an interview by a reporter. But the words are Jian's. His stories - his life - in hindsight, are lived through his principals and convictions. The people he touched throughout his life connected to his beloved coffee shop - Astoria, will never forget his generosity, his sincerity, his genuine love for people, even those who betrayed him and the people he loved, and his belief that a well lived life should hold no grudge.

Highly recommended to anyone who had any memories of this coffee shop located just outside the famous public park in Taipei. And if you were not fortunate enough to have visited this coffee shop, please read this book. It'll change the way you look at any of today's commercial ridden coffee shops.
