This book is awesome-- I usually write down my favorite lines in my book reviews, but I had so many just in the first few chapters that I gave up. I love snark, and this book definitely delivers. I don't want to ruin it for you by telling you too much and spoil your experience but suffice it to say that I enjoyed it immensely. I'm already impatiently waiting for the next one.

The main character, Jana, is incredibly well-written and relatable. I felt like I was right there with her, trying to survive in this post-apocalyptic world. Wow. Just, wow. This author is one to watch in the coming year.

Wonderful!

I cannot believe it took me so long to read this great debut from the amazing, Jennifer Faulk! I felt like I was right there in the thick of it, and when things got since they got real. Jana, tanginess, finds herself in the middle of the chaos, in a land that is completely foreign to her. In ways I could relate to her fears, living alone in Las Vegas when the pandemic began, and though it was certainly no zombie apocalypse, those emotions were real. Stories become engaging when they become relatable. The beginning was relatable thus this story when's my five star stamp of approval! Good job, Jenn! You rock!!

I would give this book about a 3.5.
Things I liked: it was a fast read, the plot moved quickly, and it was entertaining.
Things disliked: Jana was annoying at times, some unbelievable things happened, and too many F bombs.
