March 27, 2017Set in Cornwall this is a mystery in the old style. Think of Agatha Christie and you get the tone and characters.
John Reynolds is retired police detective now a successful writer of crime novels. He is forced into real life crime when his ex-wife lands him at the murder scene. He is forced to find out who killed Edmund Gatterly because the local police Inspector is after him.
Nice twisty plot and a neat ending. A pleasant read for those who like Agatha Christie or a clever plot without too much gore.
