From author Helen Goltz the third volume in the exciting paranormal series about love, power and destiny, where magic is inherited and fate comes to call.
Since accepting the cursed glasses bequeathed by her Great Aunt Daphne giving her the gift of clairvoyance, Sophie Carrell is being lauded as the hottest clairvoyant in town – a psychic medium with talent and looks! Her acting days are long gone but now she has a whole new set of dramas. Sophie must choose a protector without causing a war between ancient families, and she must decide if she will cross the line and lose her heart to the detective she is helping, Murdoch Ashcroft. Not that Murdoch has declared his feelings but the encounters she is having with him in her dream world are enough to make her blush in his presence of a daytime. There’s just one small problem, Murdoch is the Raven—from the enemy Ravenhood line—and she is his prey. But it’s not the return of Murdoch’s former lover wanting to rekindle a romance – a witch who uses her power to shapeshift to her advantage – or the men vying to be Sophie’s protector in this new generation, that will separate Sophie from Murdoch. That is all Sophie’s own doing when she makes a mistake that only the cursed can make. Love has no bounds but passion can be deadly in the third volume of The Clairvoyant’s Glasses.

This is the third book in the Clairvoyant's glasses series.
The Clairvoyant's Glasses: Love Has No Bounds tells us lots more about the magic system and what each character can do. I really enjoyed that! Most of the book is about developing the characters and their relationships, especially because Sophie really wants the one man she probably should not have.
The ending leaves the reader wanting to move straight into the fourth book. Luckily I have it ready.
I did enjoy this book, but I've noticed that the story line is gradually changing from the clairvoyant line to a more romantic story. There were only two cases that Sophie helped the police on, and those were brief. The rest of the story was about her learning about her past, her romantic interest and why it wasn't working out, and her friend's love lives. While I don't mind a romantic side-line, I really got these books for the clairvoyant part of the story. So, I guess it's a good thing that the next book is the last in the series. I will finish this series, but only because there is only one book left, and I own it. Otherwise, I wouldn't since romantic books aren't really my thing.
Oh my, the ending! I did not see that coming. This book was more heavy on the relationships than the solving of crime or giving readings. I was sad about that. I am more into the mystery than the romance, but this is not your run of the mill romance. I want to say it is like one big soap opera, but that description does not do the book justice. Past lives collide with current times, potential lovers become possible enemies, and loyalties are tested. Great book.
Yes, I read this Volume in one day. The words won’t let me go… this time new characters emerged from the past and friends are now pitted against each other. The new characters, family, and others are now woven into the story. If I haven’t said it before, be sure to read the books in order, The smaller chapters and scenes make the reading go faster. I love this series and I’m usually not a big fan of books with these kinds of characters, and fantasy written, but it is very believable. Come on in, the water is fine. Next book, please…..
I really enjoyed the first 3 books, but it grates me when the series is not complete - how long does the author think she will keep her readers interested without book 4 - same thing happened with another author, took years to bring her 4th book out and majority had lost interest and didn't bother, she lost alot of reading - Helen don't do the same thing. - this is a brilliant series - either complete it or ensure the next book comes out soonest.
And now we have to wait for the fourth in the series? Ugh! So complex and many side stories going on, I can't read fast enough! I love all of the characters and how they are all linked in some way. But now a cliff hanger of sorts. Hurry Helen, finish the fourth book!
This series has me so wrapped up in it, love the characters and the theme. The mysteries that need to be solved and the twists that happen keep you reaching for the next book.
Read all four books and loved every minute. Great enjoyable series. Liked all characters (except for Lucy). I enjoyed the stories and the magic, and history. Looking for more from the author.
