Ridley remains one of my favorite playwrights, and I consider some of his adult dramas amongst the finest contemporary stage works. However, he ALSO writes plays for young audiences, which - while often bizarre, surreal, and quirky in their own right - are not really my cuppa. Daffodil Scissors belongs to this side of the ledger.
