Kin Selection
When I first started reading this, I didn’t realize that this is a sidestep from Air in the Elementals series. (And it took me longer to realize that than I’m comfortable admitting.) I love that we get this opportunity to go back and check in with the pack and I adore that no part of this story takes itself too seriously. Denise and Yogi have amazing chemistry together; from the angry sparks and snappy banter they start with to the truce/partnership they’re forced to develop in order to protect the pack. I can’t wait to see what’s coming next because there’s some lovely hints of who the next couple might be.
Eat You Up
I have no words. At least none that are more descriptive than: wow. I don’t think it was all that long ago that I last visited this world, but boy did I miss it. However, it’s been long enough that I didn’t even realize that I’d met Dmitri before. But that’s okay, because we get very up close and personal with him here. He is all ALPHA, and a lone wolf to boot. He’s completely blindsided to meet his match. Nina is the perfect partner for him. A bit of a loner herself, she’s got a spine of purified adamantine, which means she more than capable of holding her own when Dmitri starts getting overprotective. I loved the blend of science and magic in this book. It adds a whole new dimension of possibility to the world around us. And the way this story ties in several of the author’s other series is so much fun.

Mara has been one of my favorite characters ever since we were first introduced to the Maitland pack, and I am so excited that we finally get her story. If I had been told to guess what her story would look like, I wouldn’t have come up with anything that looked even remotely like this book. Which makes it so much better in my eyes. There are so many fantastic twists and turns in the plot, that I don’t know what I can say about it without giving away the best parts. I knew it would take somebody very special to be Mara’s mate, but Jack blew my expectations out of the water. Not at all how I pictured it, but there’s something so perfect about this human mercenary that can hold his own with shifters being the mate of the most kick-butt she-wolf I’ve ever met. I can’t wait until the author brings us back to visit.

I was in no way prepared for where all this story would sweep me away to. I have to say that I love that we got this chance to come back to the Maitland pack to see our favorite wolves, and even our favorite air elemental. Derrick and Meghan are fabulous together. Theirs is a quieter chemistry than some of the couples we’ve seen before them, but it’s no less powerful for being lower key. The mystery of Meghan’s curse and its solution are nothing like I thought they’d be, and I love when an author can surprise me so completely. Now, I’m a little desperate to find out what the aftermath is going to bring for the rest of the Maitland wolves.

Fun to get 4 stories!! All were great and entertaining!
Kin Selection
I like the premise for this story, and I enjoyed that the story is a bit of an adventure. Denise is an animal activist, she breaks into labs and frees the animals. On her latest adventure, she comes across a baby wolf pup, but little does she know, he's not an ordinary wolf pup. Yogi is tasked with finding out what happened to one of the missing baby wolf shifter, and when he finds Denise, he's not sure what to make of her. Or what to do with her because the shifters need to protect their secret. This one starts a little slow for me, and I didn't love Denise, but overall, I really enjoyed it. I liked the animal activist angle because it added a danger element. Yogi was great! His name isn't, but the rest of him was terrific. I would've liked a bit more depth to the characters, but Kin Selection entertained me from beginning to end. I've read other L.B. Gilbert books, and I've loved all the ones I've read, so I'll definitely continue to read more. Fun, sweet short story!
Eat You Up
Loved this whole thing! I loved the initial set up of Dmitri finding his mate, Nina, on a plane and struggling not to claim her right away, and one of my favorite scenarios happens when they get snowed in for a bit. Some sexy steam! Then the story goes into a cool story about what Dmitri is involved in; some interesting magical elements, and I of course love the shifter aspect. Some action and danger to be had for both Dmitri and Nina. The chemistry is awesome between Nina and Dmitri; lots of spice and sweetness. He's a sweetie and it's so great how much he supports Nina. Nina is a tough, smart, selfless woman; sometimes she's too selfless, too self-sacrificing, but I appreciated her level-headed thinking. They have a really good rapport. The story went into some interesting directions and I was totally entertained all the way through.

Interesting and entertaining! A fun series! Jack is a friend of the wolf pack, but until a few clues recently, he didn’t know about the existence of shifters. He wants to know more, so he tries to sneak onto his wolf pack friends property; things get interesting when he’s caught by his wolf shifter crush, Mara. The wolf pack decides to team up with Jack, so they can work together to take down the evil corporation that is experimenting on shifters. Mara and Jack go on a mission together to do surveillance and to find out more about the evil Corp and hopefully save any shifters held prisoner. Things are getting dangerous for Mara and Jack!! Jack is the charming ladies man type; not my favorite personality, he’s a bit silly to me, but he is good for Mara; makes her lighten up a little. Mara is the strong, acts unemotional type, but she really wants someone to want her for herself not because she’s the alpha’s daughter. Jack is really sweet with Mara! Fun premise! Looking forward to reading more!

I was on board as soon as I read time-traveling witch and a wolf shifter! Love that! Sounded like such a fun adventure, and it was! Danger abound and curses! Plus, that passionate connection between mates! Derrick and Meghan have good chemistry and compliment each other well. An entertaining story!

Fun, action packed, shifter romances. Those written by L B Gilbert are all full on action packed paranormal stories with a romantic twist. However, the story by Lucy Leroux is that but with plenty of steam.
Kind Selection (L B Gilbert & Lucy Leroux): Denise gets more than she bargained for when she rescues a wolf cub from a testing facility. Whilst Yogi also gets more than he bargains for when he is sent to find said cub. What follows is a truly humorous, action packed story. Denise is an absolutely determined, able young woman and her bond with the cub, Oliver is delightful. Poor Yogi's struggle to take the pair to the werewolves is laugh out loud at times. Wonderful standalone shifter story with no cliffhangers and HEA.
Eat You Up (Lucy Leroux): Dmitri is a larger than life werewolf and his reaction to Nina, his mate getting the seat next to him on a plane is hilarious. Their subsequent misunderstandings are delightful. But it is his dodgy business deals that bring the action and plot twists to the story. Nina is a great strong female lead, whilst Dmitri is a truly likeable rogue. Fantastic page turner standalone with no cliffhangers and HEA.
Tooth and Nail (L B Gilbert): Jack, a human was attracted to Mara, the chiefs daughter on first meeting. This just gets stronger when they work together to bring down an evil corporation. Another brilliant action packed page turner with lots of twists and turns.

The relationship between Derrick and Meghan is a little uncertain to begin with because of his understandable dislike/mistrust of witches. However their adventure is absolutely fantastic and their interaction wonderful. Brilliant book to finish off the collection with.

Kin Selection Bk1:
Kin Selection is a fun and interesting story about Denise, a woman who saves a wolf cub from an unethical animal testing lab only to find out the cub is a toddler/shifter. When Yogi, a shifter is sent to retrieve the cub he kidnaps Denise to test her trustworthiness and ends up with more than he bargained for. This is a sweet, entertaining story and I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
Eat You Up Bk2:
Dmitri is a wolf shifter who never thought he would find his mate. Nina is a surgeon flying home for her sister's wedding. On the plane Dmitri and Nina are seated next to each other and sparks fly. Dmitri has found his mate and doesn't want to let her go. This is a shifter romance filled with drama, angst, steam, and a great ending.

Tooth and Nail is book two in the series and is an action packed story filled with drama, danger, suspense, magic, mystery, romance, and unexpected twists that made this a page turner. I loved Jack for Mara and how determined he was to win her over. The writing is well done and the characters are well developed.

Book1- Kim selection- This is a story of Denise a animal activist determined to protect a wolf cub from Reliance research only to find out that he is a shifter .while jogi a shifter gets a call to find out what happened to the Avery cub and mother. Book2- eat you up- Dmitri Ivanov, a high-end thief,Nina is a cardiac surgeon heading home from a conference to attend a wedding she really doesn't want to go to, but it's for family since her sister is marrying her ex! In order to continue to her destination, she must accept help from dmitri . But Dmitri’s new client turns out to be the father of Nina’s ex, and he needs to keep her safe. Can he claim his mate and protect her this get really good. I really enjoyed the Shifter's Claim series a collaboration between L.B Gilbert and Lucy Leurox. This series is very intriguing and had very interesting characters. Below are my individual review of each book in the boxset.
Kin Selection
This is the first book of the A Shifter Claim's series that is a spin of the Elemental series. It is a very enjoyable read that while is clean, is still packed with chemistry. Denise is such a likable character with a great personality. I had fun reading this book and can't wait to read the other books of the series.
Eat You Up
This is a thrilling read with danger, intrigue, passion, action, and great magical elements. This is a really entertaining read that is engrossing. I really liked Dmitri and Nina, both are strong characters that have great personalities.
Tooth & Nail
Jack and Mara have a fun story. There is action, shifters, romance, action, emotion and magic. Mara and Jack are likable characters. This is an easy, standalone read.
The Witch And The Wolf
This puts a unique twist on time travel, witches and shifters. There is no denying the connection between Derrick and Meghan. Their story has an entertaining and engaging adventure. I had fun reading this book!

Quite a fun read.
These were a very interesting collection of books. They almost felt like they were written by different authors.
The first book had me laughing out loud as Denise came to the realization that the baby wolf she rescued was a shifter.
The second book was just plain steamy! Enough said.
The third book was really about true love and protecting those who needed help.
The last book was truly supernatural. Interesting and entertaining.

I always prefer a boxset - it makes binge reading easier. I found this one interesting in that it’s under two pen names with different levels of spice. I preferred the spicy story under Lucy Leroux and will be looking for more under that name.

You can't go wrong with the series in this boxed set. The character work and story line in each book are well written and kept me coming back for more. I enjoyed having these books together in one collection for my reading ease.

You get all four books in this series in one place. Each story we enjoyable, the characters are engaging and have a great connection. The author gives us characters that you get invested with. You will enjoy all of these books. A great collection to have.
