Expertly researched and practical

I found Anger Management for Adults to be an incredibly helpful resource. The author's extensive research and knowledge on the topic are evident throughout the book, and the real-life examples and exercises made it easy to apply the strategies and techniques to my own life.

I appreciated the focus on identifying the underlying causes of anger and the importance of mindfulness as a tool for managing it. The chapter on CBT was especially helpful, providing practical strategies for managing anger without the need for therapy.

The book also emphasizes the importance of taking care of oneself, including getting enough sleep and exercise, as well as the role of nutrition in managing anger. The "cooldown kit" is a unique and interesting concept that I found to be particularly helpful.

Overall, I highly recommend Anger Management for Adults to anyone who struggles with managing their anger. It's well-researched, informative, and provides concrete techniques and tools for improving one's relationship with anger.

I really enjoyed this book:
Anger Management For Adults

I've been in Management for 25+ years and have read many self help books about every aspect. Camaraderie, conflict, etc.

When I read this book, I liked how it separated Anger into stages. It delves into the why and how of the stages and their underlying causes. It also gives the reader tips to integrate into your daily life, which is very refreshing. Identifying triggers may help avoid or overcome anger and/or confrontation. I highly recommend this book as an effective tool for anger management for all adults.

Informative with some good ideas

This was a good read. I feel like much of my anger current comes to surface as parent, and this deals more with general anger. But I do have a past of being angry before I had kids so who’s to say? Some things I found helpful:
-anger is a secondary emotion
-mindfulness is key
-cooldown kit
I’m looking forward to implementing some of these new skills into my life.

Amazing Resource

This book is as in-depth as anyone would ever need to go on this subject. It explains everything. What anger is. How it affects us emotionally and physically, why we feel anger (and there isn’t just one reason) and so much more. Once you have a clear understanding of this, the author will guide you through different ways you can learn to manage and control anger and change your life in a very positive way. Very well written and easy to understand, yet also very detailed and thorough. If you know anyone who struggles with anger control, do them a favor and buy this book for them. It might just change their life and yours too!

This book is such a great and helpful read full of so much useful information! Ari Kolter is a phenomenal writer!

As adults we are often told that it’s not normal to be angry but this book doesn’t make it an emotion to be ashamed of. Instead the author teaches wonderful strategies and techniques to manage your natural emotion of anger so that it doesn’t inject itself where it does not belong and become toxic. I highly recommend this book to everyone even if you don’t have anger management issues. It will help you understand anyone that comes into your life in the future that might not know how to handle the emotion of anger properly and in a healthy manner.
