This activity book has 10 cute monster designs, and hundreds of stickers in little mosaic shapes! It's so easy to put the stickers into place, and the finished product looks wonderful. In order to figure out where to put each sticker, you have to complete a phonics word and match the picture to the word. It's perfect for young students to get more confident with their reading! The student will really feel a sense of accomplishment when they finish!

The stickers are sturdy and easy to remove from the sticker sheet. The colors are vibrant and it's simple to follow the instructions to find the right placement for each sticker. I really loved that the pages are perforated, so that you can tear out the sticker sheet or the design or both. That way you don't have to keep flipping back and forth in the book.

There are also additional activities on the back of each page. There are word scrambles, rhyming puzzles, secret messages with mystery words, and matching games. This book is packed with fun!

I love the clever designs and beautiful colors! The brightly-colored designs make it really special and cute. This is perfect for students during the summer to remember everything they have learned in the school year.

LEARN BY STICKER: BEGINNING PHONICS is a clever workbook that encourages early reading skills. The book includes 10 monster images that can be created by filling in shapes with stickers. The stickers are labeled by the way that children fill in the blanks of words, beginning with simple 3-letter words (accompanied by drawings of the item) and moving on to slightly more complex ones from short vowels to blending sounds.

What I loved: This was an absolute delight to do along with my almost-kindergartener. Children can really get into creating these adorable monster pictures and exploring words and sounds. The stickers are labeled with the whole word created by filling in the blanks, which allows for some help as they recognize sounds and letters, even if they are not independently reading yet. For instance, a blank on a page might be something like "__ __ ide" with an image of a slide. The sticker for that shape is then labeled with the word "slide." This also helps with allowing children to do word and letter recognition as they can find the letters they know on the sticker page, and it makes it work for even young children (5+ is recommend, and this seems accurate). That being said, elementary school aged children who enjoy learning and puzzles can also get into this!

The back of each sticker creation also includes word games to extend the fun, such as word scrambles, riddles, and rhyming games (with answer keys at the bottom of the pages). This makes for plenty of educational activities that children can really play around with. The book is fully in color, which has a lot of appeal for little ones, and definitely feels more like fun than the traditional workbook.

The sticker paintings themselves are also really fantastic! They make for a mess-free, on-the-go activity. The pages are perforated so that the sticker sheets can be torn out of the back of the book for ease of working with the design. The designs are also perforated and can easily be removed from the book for display.

Final verdict: LEARN BY STICKER: BEGINNING PHONICS is an absolutely delightful way to extend learning at home to build reading skills and make fantastic art! Highly recommend picking this up for elementary school aged children who love being creative, puzzles, and learning.

LEARN BY STICKER: PHONICS utilizes stickers and vibrant monsters as an engaging tool for children to practice first-grade level phonics. It's so many things in one: an educational tool to help learn phonics, a sticker puzzle, and a good laugh. I enjoyed watching my daughter piece together the vibrant pictures to form silly monsters.

Most children love stickers and monsters so this seems like the winning combination. The words were simple enough for my six year old to sound out and practice her reading skills. The stickers are perforated and tear out easily so you don't have to flip between pages. There are ten monsters to build and while helping children read, it also stimulates their creative side.

Final Verdict: I absolutely love this concept and recommend it for children aged five through seven who are still learning their basic phonics since this is a first grade level tool. This is perfect for parents who want to help encourage their children to learn how to read and sound out words at home. It's also an activity that will keep them occupied for a while and better than having their faces glued to an electronic device.
