As ever, pure treacle that slips down very easily. Perhaps a little less substance in this one than earlier episodes in this series, but fun to imagine the characters’ lives before the series began. One or two problems needed the attention of a good copy editor.

The coronation of Queen Elizabeth forms the backdrop for this installment of the Corrie tie in novels with two main strands featuring romance and the usual soap shenanigans. It's another nice easy read.
