Unforgettable

Talk about yanking hard on the heartstrings! This novella gave my tear ducts a workout. 😭😭😭 I swear, I spent more than half of the time swiping at those salty drops.

I know Lanie is an integral part of my life, but I can’t make the emotional connection with that knowledge. I’m lost. I’ve lost a part of who I am. I’ve lost what we had together.

Cade forgetting Lanie after an incident during a hockey game is a tough pill for both of them to swallow. Both want it resolved, and I did not see that trigger coming.

The ending is incredibly sweet and a good wrap up for the series. ❤🤗

I recommend at least reading Playing Wild: A small-town, second-chance romance, previously published as Playing Deep, before reading this, but you could skip it. The other secondary characters all come from the other books in the series, but again, you can read without those.

This novella was so full of emotion and angst. I felt so bad for Jenna and Tyler. After everything they went through previously, I can't believe that some thing happens to circumvent their romance once again. However, it does end on a HEA and shows that love can prevail!

Playing for Keeps by Violet Rae picks up where Playing Deep left off with Tyler and Jenna and the rest of their friends. Now engaged Jenna to Tyler, things just keep getting better until an injury on the football field threatens everything. Will Tyler and Jenna finally get their HEA? 5 Stars!

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Jenna and Tyler and does not let go. The story keeps us turning the pages with obstacles, angst and steam.
