omg omg! this book was the perfect thing to get me out of this reading slump i've been in. it was such a fast paced novella with an amazing plot line that kept me hooked! and we can't forget the amazing characters 🤍
john is THE definition of a gentleman 😮💨 his protective instincts over ruby won me over instantly 🫶 also ruby's grandma was the best 😹 she carried!!!
definitely recommend this one as i genuinely did not put it down once i started (i also read it in about an hour!!) 🤍

This is a sweet story with characters you instantly warm to. I enjoyed the world-building and the inclusion of details that turn the characters from two-dimensional to three-dimensional. I also liked the trains of thought that help you to understand each character's point of view. The steam and romance side of things was just right for a novella and the ending left me feeling warm inside. I haven't read anything else by this author but this was a delicious taste and I definitely want to read more.

this is part of the Wild Blooms series. different Authors. this Author is one of my favorites. and I love. her series that. one character is mentioned in this book. Johnathan is. best friends with James White and is his driver. and he wants Jonathan to go florist. for him for Abigail there he bumps into Ruby who he senses an attraction straight away she goes every Friday to pick up saffron for her grandmother. but Ruby feels though someone is watching her. so, Jonathan walks her to her car. and Ruby does not know Johnathan has a little secret. will love blossom. a beautiful little read but I so recommend. this Authors books.

Jonathon takes on a weekly job for his boss James every week he goes to Sally's florist Cygnet Blooms to pick up a bouquet and deliver them to Abigail, he's getting well payed for it. Ruby is picking up saffron for her grandma and they both catch each others eye, the relationship blossoms over their weekly visits to the florist and what secret has Jonathan kept from Ruby.
I just loved this book that I found so heart warming that will touch your buttons a unique love story of two people made for each other, that made it such a joy to read from the start to the very end.
A feel good cuddle up read I loved it.

This is a short story filled with awesome characters. Jonathan (John) Black was disillusioned with his previous work and his pushy snob parents so left. He works for his friend doing menial tasks. He is a billionaire so he doesn’t need the money, just works to occupy his mind. Each Friday John picks up flowers and delivers them to his boss, James White’s fiancée it’s boring until he meets Ruby. Each Friday she stops in to pick a bundle of Saffron to take to her Grandmothers. They visit and bake Saffron cake.
John and Ruby are both attracted to each other and enjoy flirting each Friday at the flower shop. After a few weeks, they include sharing a coffee at a local coffee shop before they pick up their flower orders. Lately Ruby has felt like someone was watching her and it was unnerving. John picked up on her uneasiness and he starts watching out for her and escorting her to her car. There is a confrontation but John takes care of protecting her. He is so wonderful, such a protective caring guy and he certainly is easy on the eyes. I loved Ruby, her Grandma, and John. The story ends with a big bang and leaves you with a smile and a warm heart. I received a free copy of this story from Bookfunnel and am happy to share my opinion. Linda

Friends And Parents Influence Your Love Life
I had to chuckle at the parents and grandparents of these 2 characters who want to see their son and daughter get married to someone that they like and have babies. I have seen those parents but I have seen the ones who are very protective. Like these 2, you want to find the person you want and do things your way. This is a cute love story.

I struggled to connect with the characters. It was a nice short story.

Loved this sweet love story ❤️ between Jonathan and Ruby who meet at a flower shop and love blossoms over time. I loved the unique story involving the flower shop and the great HEA. Sweet novella that kept me fully interested from start to finish!

I need a Jonathan in my life. This man and his sweetness were perfection. Ruby is one of those girls who you would be friends with outside of the book. Even though this was a novella it was truly a great story. I need more of them.

Whenever Sharon Woods publishes a new book, I just download it in KU and start it as soon as possible. I just love her books and if you haven’t read anything by her, Saffron and Secrets is a great start. This is a stand-alone novella set in the multi-author Wild Blooms Series.
It’s about Ruby and Jonathan who meet in a flower shop. Flowers represent something very different for them. While Ruby loves flowers and always picks up saffron for baking with her grandma, Jonathan is picking up flowers for his boss and he isn’t really a romantic. Ruby’s grandma is amazing by the way, and I loved the scene when Jonathan meets her for the first time. But that will change when he gets closer to Ruby who is being followed and Jonathan helps her out.
The author just captures their story beautifully in this novella and manages to create and develop amazing characters in so few pages. I just love Ruby and Jonathan as a couple, and I highly recommend this novella.

Loved this sweet romance novella. Sweet Ruby and hunky Jonathon meet over flowers which then blossoms into much more. A little of mystery and suspense helps them along the way.
