Devon Scott is my new favorite!!!!!!! The movie Obsessed has absolutely nothing on this book and no they are NOT the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michael and Kennedy Handley are the ideal couple with the perfect marriage! They both are lawyers, personalities to die for, both are definitely physically attractive and have the world's best son! They go on dream vacations, live in a stunning home and have the friends to rival the rich and famous. But what do you do when someone becomes obsessed with seeing you fail and you have no idea who or why?

Devon Scott has captured so many emotions in this book: joy, sorrow, fear, excitement I was just amazed!!!!! This is a book that you can read and be like "I need to read that again it was so good!" I am going to keep Devon Scott on my "To Watch " list because he is going to take the reading world by storm!!!!!

TW: SEXISM, HOMOPHOBIA. DNF @ page 33: pretty obvious sexism here and there in the first bit, which I was willing to overlook bc it’s kind of an old book. However, Michael later says he’s “the only man I want inside of her” (referring to his wife), but that he “doesn’t mind” her having relationships with other women….as long as he’s there too. Super gross, super problematic portrayal of WLW relationships as “not real enough to count”. NOT interested in reading about a toxic couple using women for the benefit of a man’s pleasure. Do not recommend if you’re queer identifying, or an ally. The writing was cheesy too.

The couple in this book are successful but has a secret. Someone finds out about the secret and blackmails them. It was suspenseful i would recommend it just didn’t care for the ending.

The Big Payback

Life is sweet for the Handleys. Married six years. Successful. Parents. Unlike most couples, uninhibited. So what happens to all of that when what they do in their spare time is suddenly revealed? For some unknown reason someone is out to hurt Michael and Kennedy. Their once perfect lives begin to crumble quickly. As they try to recover, it seems that there is one attack after the other and no possible leads.

OBSESSED by Devon Scott unleashes a drama behind closed doors. Admittedly I enjoyed the characters as well as the chain of events; however, the story itself seemed to drag on forever.

This book was horrible. It took about 100 pages for it to get interesting & it dragged on & on. Kennedy & Michael were annoying as well as their son. I also noticed there was a part of the book that was ever elaborated on in the end. There was so much pointless stuff that towards the end I started skimming over the chapters.

Very good book. Romantic, suspenseful, keeps you reading. In the beginning its sort of difficult to get your mind around the characters but once each is defined its a great, and truly a great read. Very sexy.

Once I got pass the HOT sex scene I was somewhat able to enjoy the book. Not much of a mystery to me. It sort of went on & on & on about nothing. This is my first time reading this Author, maybe I will try his other book titled“Unfaithful” in the late future.

This is my first book by Devon Scott wow mind blowing!!! A very fast pace with twists and turns to keep you hooked until the end. Great suspense, what can happen when a perfect couple have it all and in one moment it falls apart?? Definitely will recommend this book!!!
