I'm hiking Yosemite National Park on my own, after a breakup, to get back in touch with nature. But this much? Suddenly I'm faced with a gorgeous man who's wearing no clothes, and feel for the first time in my life the type of chemistry they write songs about. With him I'm primal. Free. Truly alive. But then he transforms into a creature of myths, and suddenly my old way of life vanishes in the blink of a werewolf's pale eye. Now I'm caught between an Alpha war and please don't judge me, but I want them both to be mine forever. My world has become this beautiful forest. The packs' rivalry, now my war, too. And what I felt inside of me before I ever came to Yosemite turns out to be so true - I'm much more than I was allowing myself to be, back then. Is it possible there's magic inside us all that's been waiting for us to allow it?A stand-alone werewolf shifter novel with tons of spice.
With over 40 books published, and one feature film — Just One More Kiss, a ghost love story distributed by Lionsgate — Faleena now lives in Seattle, WA, with her rescue dog, Sophia, where she drinks too much coffee and enjoys every single drop of rain.
This is again a honest review of this book. As I have read it before, it was amazing to once again experience this love story. A woman whose love gave her both the men she wanted and need to become what she was meant to be.
I've read most of Faleena's works. This is a bit different but no less impressive. I really relate to Ali's feelings of being the outsider everywhere, including in her own family. Struggling to find her place in this new world, finding love with two strong alphas, it's a great read!
Beautiful love story. HEA guaranteed. Ali, Calt and Red have to deal with a lot of obstacles before they can come together as one. Lots of action, romance and steamy scenes.
This story is definitely worth reading. The way she captures the inner working of the clan is amazing. You actually feel like this is all happening. Amazing
