Ouch Peter Parker is a normal kid -- until he gets bitten by a spider. This is no ordinary bug -- this spider's bite gives Peter superpowers He can crawl up buildings, leap long distances, and shoot spider-webbing out of his wrists Peter's life will never be the same
Not only does this "novelization" have annoyingly short chapters and read like a Cliff's Notes summary, but it doesn't even tell the entire story!
If you're looking for a good prose adaptation of the wall-crawler's first flick, seek out Peter David's version; it's amazing.
(I give it two stars because, as a longtime Spidey fan, I can't give it the lowest possible rating. Plus, the photography was great, even if nothing else about this book was.)
