Sociology in a Changing World

Rate this book
A study of sociology. This fifth edition seeks to bring a more cohesive thematic approach - focusing on social/global change - to the introductory course and should give students a better understanding of sociology as it is applied to the real world. It emphasizes the reality of social change and its impact on individuals, groups and societies throughout the world. The text carefully balances contemporary and classic theory and research, with special attention to the works of female and minority social scientists and cross-cultural studies. William Kornblum applies all the major perspectives of sociology without giving undue emphasis to any single approach.

If you didn’t have one before, this book will g-i-v-e you a personality. This is a vital work. From the superficial to the superficial. Also the author sounds like he is his own editor.
