Adriano Costa was just coming to collect on a debt owed by Richard Johansen. He certainly didn’t expect the chef to be Lauren Johansen, Richard’s daughter. Her cute stutter draws him in and he cares nothing for about the debt, but wants her. Lauren doesn’t know what it is about Adriano that makes her weak in the knees. He is sexy, stubborn, and so not right for her. I love that for one, Lauren isn’t “perfect.” There is always the pretty model like woman. Lauren is curvy and a bit more with a stutter. It only goes away when Adriano riles her up. And it is so cute. He sees it as such as well. At first you think he is just a user but he isn’t. He actually is a really good guy. He knows what he wants and see Lauren as the puzzle piece missing in his life. I loved this story.
