Her senior year of high school, she enlisted in the US Army. Following basic training, she transferred to the Navy’s ROTC program at the University of Texas-Austin. While at UT, she spent a summer in Washington, DC, as a Congressional Intern. She also worked security for the UT Police.
BA in Political Science in hand, Candace was commissioned as an ensign in the US Navy and sent to Surface Warfare Officer’s School to learn to drive warships. From there, she followed her father to sea.
Candace is married to her favorite soldier, a former US Army Combat Engineer. They live in the American Midwest, where the Army/Navy football game is avidly watched and argued over every year.

The impressive finale to the Sisters-in-Arms series by Candace Irvin
If you like former military characters who are strong, independent female protagonists and an inspiration to young women everywhere, as well as hot, passionate romance, Candace Irvin's Sister-in-Arms series is for you! I have enjoyed this series so much. It has taken me back to my early days as a student at Walter Reed Army Institute of Nursing and my years in the Army Nurse Corps. When I got to Irresistible Forces, book three in the Sisters in Arms series, I was reluctant to say goodbye to these wonderful book friends! I found all of the Sister-in-Arms to be inspiring female characters. Samantha, the main character in Irresistible Forces, is a well-developed, three-dimensional protagonist. She is relatable and absolutely believable. She is the woman I really hoped to be. Griff, the hero, is the definition of an alpha male. He will spoil you for all other book boyfriends, I guarantee!
The final book in this incredible series, Irresistible Forces, is jam-packed with heart-stopping action. I was on pins and needles throughout this book and could barely put it down to eat or take bathroom breaks! As a former US Navy Lt., Candace Irvin's knowledge of the military and the female officer's role in a male-dominated service shines through in this story. To those of us who have served, her writing provides not only an enjoyable interlude from everyday life but also recognition of the sacrifices we made to serve our country.
Pick up Irresistible Forces and immerse yourself in a gripping journey to happily ever after.

An absolute stunning and brilliant storyline!!!!! Candice did not disappoint! Plenty of heart stopping suspense mixed with sexy alpha pilots and oh let’s not forget all the feels.....I’m not going to discuss and more about the characters or story because you need to read it to truly enjoy the experience and what an experience it is!!!! I highly recommend you read this book ♥️

Second chance
Story about a second chance. Will they ever get over what happened to them years earlier will they ever get the experiences forgiven. She is a brilliant scientist and he's a cornel and someone is trying to sabotage her work. Try putting in his daughter into the mix.

Love it
This is a great book in the series by Miss Candace Irvin. Its a bit different the the two previously but still very good story.
