This book is about an spy in an agency, they change the spectator and they bounce from who story to another and I found that very interesting. The agent goes through a lot of action filled events and it’s very exciting and mysterious in a way.

Agent Mongoose and the Hypno-Beam Scheme
Jacob Hall!

Agent Mongoose and the Hypno-Beam Scheme is a choose-your-own-adventure book that will take place in either Alaska or Paris depending on whether you choose to take out the hypno-beam or EMP bomb. This book has you take the place of agent mongoose as you go on your mission to take out the evil Dr. Santiago Van Horst. Because of the vocabulary in this book I think anyone over the age of seven would enjoy this book, but because this is a choose your own adventure book it is important to know that you can die in this book by ether getting caught or backstabbed and that a certain twist in one ending may not existed in another.
In my own experience with this books, I learned that the first choice is the biggest because that decides the story line and there's no shame in going back to a page where you pick a choice in fact I usually put my thumb on my last choose-your-own-adventure page in case I end up dying so I can continue the storyline. When you’re done with one story go back to the beginning and choose the other one and lastly do what you want not what seems most logical because in Agent Mongoose and the Hypno-Beam Scheme you just have to trust your instinct. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars for being a great example of what a choose-your-own-adventure book should be like.
