I enjoyed reading this book, first of all. It is written in a graphical format and offers a visual representation of the textual stories. That's good. Moreover, it is beyond enjoyment (the experience) as the book becomes a source of inspiration and compels the readers to look upon women with more respect, hope and anticipation... they are the leaders of today and the book including 20 success stories of women from various fields proves that! Do read this book... an ideal gift for growing girls in schools and colleges.

As the title says, the book features some witty, courageous, risk-taking and entrepreneurial women who have established themselves in society as leaders, employment providers and inspirational figures... the book is a testimony to the abilities, strength and determination of women. It will be an ideal gift for young readers, teenagers, and college students. Any reader will be inspired by what they read. Critically, the picture-book-style narrative will attract young readers but might annoy those who might be willing to read more about the 20 women in detail, sans images. Well, overall, the book is inspiring and very welcoming. Recommended! Every woman's story is worth reading!

As a woman myself, this book was more than a text-graphic story for me. I read every woman's journey very carefully. It is more than merely inspirational. This book and the stories of the successful women it brings to life are wonderful, directly inspiring and very heart-warming too. Women are no more the back-seat comforters. They are taking the driver's seat and steering the wheel as well! Proud of every one of the 20 featured in this book by these authors. If you are a woman, do read this book today and learn about those who have achieved something great in life and are still in the pursuit of more, without tiring!

I truly liked all the stories of the successful women in the book. Many come from humble backgrounds and they have achieved extraordinary feats in the world of self-dependency, better known as entrepreneurship in the world. I am sure many will be inspired by reading the graphical stories of these women – how they thought the business ideas initially and how they scaled new heights with time. Do read this book and it'd also be better as a gift to young women and children who will learn how to stand apart in the new era of opportunities.

I would have liked it in a pain text format, to begin my reading experience. However, whatever the format you may prefer, the content of this book is undoubtedly very important, refreshing, wonderfully prepared and inspiring. This should be on the reading lists of women, home-makers, young girls going to schools and colleges and anyone else. Women have reached new levels of success in their lives and this book celebrates the same.

I am sure many other readers will like to read such inspirational stories. Do get a copy of this wonderful graphic book if you want to know about distinguished women of the Indian society from various fields of life.

To me, this book felt like a testimony or a proof to the fact that women have moved ahead of their traditionally conceived roles and assumed many different roles to play in their lives... They are home-makers and many other things today – pilots, warriors, actors, police, politicians, technical geeks and so many other things including entrepreneurs who are ready to risk things in order to achieve larger goals.

Inspiring, exemplary and fascinating stories of women on the drivers' seats... they are the ones to follow, learn from and the leaders women should idealise. This is a much-needed book for the times like today. Telling the world the stories of those women who decided to extend the horizon of their ambitions and achieved the same... 20 entrepreneurs with 20 successful businesses... graphical stories that younger audience can also read and get inspired. Every story is unique.

The authors have been very careful, just and surprisingly curious to look for women from the remote lands of India to feature in this wonderful collection of 20 successful women entrepreneurs who have established themselves in the society... accepting the challenges and the call of the heart, setting up their ventures from the scratch and then managing their teams successfully. We Mean Business is a very interesting and inspiring book... to say the least!

Inspirational and worth every minute you spend reading this graphical book... the authors have collected the stories of the rise of twenty women entrepreneurs who have defied the 'norms' of the society and moved ahead in their lives and pursued their passion. It is very encouraging to read about women from rural, urban and even low income background achieving great success in life just because they dared to venture and take the risk. The graphical narrative makes it even more interesting. I would like to recommend this book to all my friends and especially girls of young age... they will learn a lot by reading this.

“My education may have been cut short, but life has taught me more than books ever could. If I'd had a comfortable life, I may not have come this far. But straying outside my boundaries has made me a bit of a role model.”
— Reena Bharti Rana

When we see women around ourselves, the most expected thing about the gender is to run a household at first, and the rest follows later for some. Perhaps, the progressive nature in the patriarchal society is timid. However, reading We Mean Business has given a different dynamic to the world I visualise.

The book shares 20 very inspiring stories of women across the country, who either had to pull themselves out of their comfort zones to make a well off living, or their circumstances might have shoved them within the economical frontier in a very distinctive society.

Stories about women have always been a thing to learn and teach from, however with women like @sutrakaar , @dilu_s_25 , Babi Kumari and so forth, my view on the subject of women working and becoming essentially progressive, has reached to another dimension.

I personally have always looked forward to becoming an economically independent woman, and with 'We Mean Business ', I can clearly see the universe shoving the right book under my nose at the very right time, when thinking about a career is quite overwhelming.

This book has legit defined and proudly crossed a definite age bar to commence with a startup in any sector, especially for "WOMEN". In India, everything we do in life goes by the age we're into, but with books such as this, it is supremely clear that, one can look forward to earning and living one's life irrespective of one's ever-so-increasing age at any given point of time. There's definitely no age bar for anything to acquire in life, and essentially for women, we're never too old to get what is all ours.

Ps: do not forget to check my instagram bio to buy a copy of the same.

First of all, I liked the idea to narrate these stories of successful women in an illustrated way. It will be very good for young readers to read and connect with the stories (visual content attracts more). Also, the women who have been featured with their entrepreneurship models are amazing, rose from zero and established their names, brands and models in the society... they might not be billionaires, they are certainly self-made, daring people, and determined individuals who will achieve big in the coming future... The stories about women from rural and humble backgrounds will inspire many women, I am sure. Their success matters the most!

It is remarkable and astonishing at the same time learning about women who could manage to enter into start-ups so late in their lives, and managing other facets of life at the same time... Wonderfully created representative graphics might not do justice to the actual story of their lives but offer the readers a glimpse into the real stories. I enjoyed the book and also got inspired to think about other things while keeping the conventional career options in sight... thanks to my dear friend for suggesting me this wonderful book!

When women succeed... many people are happy, satisfied and helped in various ways! This book is a testimony to the hard work, vision, dedication and determination of the women of this modern society who are not ready to accept anything lesser than the success itself! Don't only enjoy reading it, also find motivation and inspiration by reading the stories of successful women entrepreneurs from different walks of life.

The things that attract about this book are realism, factual stories and the hard work these authors (and illustrators) may have done in threading these things together in a wonderfully managed visual narrative... you may feel it like a movie with still images. The stories are inspiring and each one of them is exemplary. Women in the digital media, women on YouTube, women in the industrial field and so on... this book tells what women can do (and nothing that women cannot do)!
