I enjoyed leafing through this book, it has a lot of good ideas and the techniques behind them for using paint to update rooms, furniture, fabric and so on. Nicely detailed instructions and tips too.

Tips on using color to change the appearance of a room, furniture, lamps etc. It also addressed how to tackle some painting problems and how to paint unusual surfaces. Good information with helpful instructions.

It was ok. It really should have been called Glazing Saves the Day. The best chapter was Chapter 10 on general information about painting and glazing.

For those still doing faux painting this is an updated decent version.

Detailed do-it-yourself book on paint finishes. A little bit too much information for my purposes. But someone who is going to follow it step-by-step will find this book very useful and handy.
